1. New transcoder: we’re now integrated with a transcoding service provider, LivePeer.
2. When you upload a single video we then create 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p, and 1080p resolution videos all using Apple’s HLS encoding. Each video is split into many short segments of videos and then reassembled in the player.
3. 1. This makes video play SUPER fast. The users can leave their selection on “auto” which will set the best resolution based on the user’s internet connection speed.
